"If you're reading this, you probably know the feeling. The heaviness that's there before the day has even started. The dread of getting up in the morning, inside a life that, on paper, is working.
You might not be able to name it. Most people can't. A sense of being blocked, or disconnected from your own life. The same mundane thing every day. And a question at the end of them you don't say out loud: is this it? Have I worked this hard for this? What is my purpose, really? Or simply, who am I?
So you start looking. Most people find us looking for ayahuasca. Very few arrive knowing there is more than one path, or which one is theirs.
I know, because I went looking too. I was 41. My first stop was a weekend gathering, 35 people in a room and someone playing shaman. I came away worse than I started. What I found later was a living tradition, still intact, held by people who didn't just serve the practices. They lived them.
They took me in like their own. After years on my own journey, and over six years of apprenticeship alongside some of Peru's most respected curanderos, I was initiated. We opened Ancient Ceremonies in 2017.
Since then we have served hundreds of people in the same traditional way my teachers and their ancestors did for generations. They don't leave us fixed or reinvented. They leave steadier. Clearer. Lighter. Often the people around them notice before they say a word about it.

Step into the heart of the Australian countryside where Ancient Ceremonies unlocks a haven for deep shamanic healing. Here, your journey towards wholeness begins amid the whispers of Andean tradition and breathtaking Australian landscapes.
For many who arrive here, this is unfamiliar territory. Not because they haven't been searching, but because they haven't yet found a place that feels both traditional and responsibly held.
Ancient Ceremonies offers authentic Andean and Amazonian practices within a clear and structured container. Nothing loose. Nothing casual.
Here is what that looks like:
• Small groups of up to 6 people
• Led by highly trained and initiated Huachumeros and Ayahuasqueros
• Preparation before you arrive
• Follow up once you return home
• A careful screening process to ensure the right fit
None of this is for show. The groups stay small because this work can't be held properly at scale. We screen carefully because the right group protects everyone in it. We prepare you before, and walk with you after, because the tradition was never only about the ceremony.

Real Change Takes Time (And We're Here For All of It)
Real change rarely happens in a single moment. It unfolds through preparation, experience, and thoughtful integration.
The ceremonies themselves are only one part of the process. What matters just as much is how those experiences are supported, before you arrive and after you return home.
You won't be left alone to "figure it out." Once the retreat ends, we walk with you through three weeks of follow-up calls, so that what you found here can be lived, not just remembered.
Because the true measure of this work isn't what happens during the retreat. It's how you return to your life afterward, steadier, and more yourself.
A Carefully Held Environment in the Otways in Victoria
Two hours west of Melbourne, our retreat space is chosen for its balance of privacy, nature, and quiet. Far enough from the noise of daily life to let you settle, close enough that getting here is simple.
The environment is built to support the depth of the work. Comfortable accommodation, nourishing meals, and quiet surroundings. Space to be alone when needed, and space to connect when appropriate.
You will not be navigating this on your own. Rodolfo and Grace are present throughout, attentive and experienced and close by, so your focus stays where it belongs: on the work itself.
Everything here exists to support one thing, a steady and responsibly held process.
Maybe you know the feeling. On paper the life is built, and still there's a quiet set of questions you don't say out loud. Is this it? Who am I, really? What is all of this actually for?
I know these questions because I lived them. From the outside my life looked like it was working. Underneath, I was carrying depression and anxiety that traced back to old wounds, and nothing I'd achieved was touching it. I tried the usual routes first. Psychology, coaching. They sharpened the outside, but the cracks always came back.
My first attempt at this work was with the wrong person, and I came away worse than I started. That taught me something I still hold to: with this work, who is holding it matters as much as the work itself. Not long after, I found the real tradition in Peru, and in time my teachers offered to take me on as an apprentice. Something Don Howard had never done with anyone, and Maestro Rober only once outside his own family. I didn't want this. I resisted it a long time. Eventually they told me plainly to carry the work forward.
